Global Star Satellite Phones

Globalstar Satellite phones allow you to make and receive phone calls while you're out on the water. Since it works over a satellite you dont have to worry about coverage areas like cell phones. You can be assured of a good connection wherever you are. Globalstar has different models from mobile phones to stationary fixed mount phones. Many people elect to get a mobile phone with the optional car kit to securely mount the satellite phone on their boat.

You can also use Globalstar's Data network for Internet access. Either use you're existing standard dial-up account or Globalstar's direct Internet access and you can be sending and receiving email or surfing the web while you are out at sea. Simply connect you're satellite phone to you're computer and you could be surfing the web on the high seas.
