January...
gray, "dreich"
windswept
gales, horizontal
sprays of rain
batter oil liners,
fishing boats ,
and the occasional
tall ship
surging up the
Firth of Forth.
Inchkeith, a constant
in the distance.
When the foghorn
blows, the tiny isle
disappears momentarily,
only to reappear when
the mist clears...
