BIO Shirley Posthumus Hokke, B.A.,
B.Ed. Honours Specialist Visual Arts Shirley is a graduate of the University of Western
Ontario, Nipissing and Laurentian Universities. She attained a Bachelor of Arts, Visual Arts
and Bachelor of Education and recently completed the Honours Specialist program
at U.W.O. She currently teaches art at
Secondary School. Shirley is known as a painter of ‘Rock Formations’ as
exhibited at the Station Arts Centre, Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre, London
Regional Art Gallery and Museum, Woodstock Art Gallery and Spencer Gallery at
U.W.O. Her work is hanging in both corporate and public
collections. Shirley is a recipient of
many awards including an Ontario Arts Council Assistance Grant and Community
