How to use MP3+g toolz

To use MP3+G Toolz, you must first get the required software.

Get the Toolz from ActiveASP and install as the site instructs.

You will only have to do this once: Open up the Toolz, and click “Options”. Auto Rename may be used if you subscribe to the KJ Pro Database.  Place a check in “Automatically create cue / text files”, and click on “Register Explorer Extensions”; the later enables right click integration.  Click “OK” and close the Toolz.

MP3+G Zip files to BIN files

Place all the zip files you need to convert into a new folder.  A typical disk will hold approx. 16 tracks depending on the length of each song.  Right click on the folder and select “MP3+G Toolz .NET4”.  MP3+G Toolz will then open.

Select “Zip to Bin” from the menu on the left side.  BIN files, a cue sheet, and a text file will be created and placed inside the folder.  You can delete the left over zip, mp3 and cdg files.

BIN to MP3+G Zip

At this point, it will be easier for you if all the BIN files are already properly named with Disk – Artist – Song Name.

Place all your BIN files you want to convert into a new folder. Right click on the folder and select “MP3+G Toolz .NET”.  MP3+G Toolz will then open.

Select “Bin to Zip” from the menu on the left side. Zip files named like the BIN files will be created and placed inside the folder, along with a Cue Sheet and Text file. You can delete all the extra files.

Creating a Cue Sheet and Text file

Deposit all the BIN files you want on your cue sheet into a new folder.  A typical disk will hold approximately 16 tracks depending on the length of each song.  Right click on the folder and select “MP3+G Toolz .NET”. MP3+G Toolz will then open.

Select “Create Cue/Text file” and a Cue Sheet and Text file of all the tracks will be created and placed inside the folder.

Editing the Cue Sheet may be done with Note Pad.   It may be easier to use CDRwin or Power Cue Creator to create your Cue Sheet to get the tracks in a selected order.
