The Winnebago "Le Sharo" certainly was an innovative Van Camper. The chassis was built by Renault in France and it sported a Renault Diesel engine. It had a wide body and a very spacious interior layout in its 22 feet and included an impressive pull-out shower stall. We loved this vehicle and its excellent engine, but after first the alternator and then the starter went and it was almost impossible to have these French made items refurbished, I gave up. | |
